What stays on your machine

Battles, prompts, outputs and your provider keys stay on your computer. The MCP server only sends a battle to Prompt Royale when you publish it, after showing you exactly what becomes public. Contestant models receive only the prompt.

What we store

  • Account: a username and profile image from your sign-in. Sign-in and your email address are handled by Clerk.
  • Published battles: the prompt, outputs, model names, token usage, durations and your vote. These are public.
  • Activity: your votes, upvotes and reports. Votes and upvotes count toward public totals; reports are only seen by moderators.
  • Connected agents: a label and a hashed token for each coding agent you connect. You can revoke them in settings.
  • Rate-limit counters and server logs kept by our hosting providers for security.

Service providers

We use Clerk (sign-in), Convex (database), Cloudflare (output storage and delivery) and Vercel (website hosting). They process data only to run the service. We do not sell data, show ads or use tracking analytics.

Your choices

  • Keep battles private: nothing is uploaded unless you publish.
  • Ask us to remove published battles or delete your account and its data by writing to the address below.
  • Revoke connected agents at any time in settings.
